Introduction

The Orbiteum Chain is a Layer2 Optimistic Rollup created to support and scale the Ethereum network. Using Optimism’s open source code, the Orbiteum Chain was built as a rollup designed to batch process transactions to reduce usage and cost on the Ethereum Chain base layer. The Orbiteum Chain is designed with developers and the community in mind to sustain a seamless user experience in the Ethereum ecosystem.
